Our chickens are seasonally pastured, free to roam and forage to their hearts' content. Every morning when their coop door opens, we feed them organic soy-free feed produced in the Hudson Valley and supplement with foraging. Soy-free feed programs require significantly different formulation strategies than standard organic feeds. Traditional organic rations often rely on corn, wheat, and roasted soybeans as foundational ingredients, while soy-free programs depend more heavily on peas, sunflower meal, wheat, and fish meal to balance energy and protein requirements. We believe soy-free produces healthier chickens and more delicious eggs, hence why this is what we offer!
Our eggs are currently $6 per dozen.
